Youth climbing training

Climbing is a versatile hobby and it is easy to get involved in. People, and especially children are naturally inclined towards climbing. Climbing develops both body and mind, and doing sports in a group setting creates a sense of community and friendship.

Climbing is a very safe sport. An instructor guides each group of 8-16 children. All our instructors are trained by Finnish Climbing Association, and they train the children with a sufficient number of skilled auxiliary instructors.

Our club offers guided climbing for children aged 5 to 17 years. At present, there are 16 training groups, training for 90 minute sessions from Monday to Thursday between 4 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

The youngsters (aged 5-7) train on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in 60 minute sessions. It is also possible to train 2-3 times a week. Our club is invested in competitive sports. We offer an own small group for individuals who
are interested in climbing as a competitive sport. The group has a more individualized guidance in goal oriented training.
